Word-game competition that fits your schedule.
A shared board makes a score more interesting. You are not asking a friend to guess how hard your puzzle was: they can take on the same Daily and find out how their word finding compares.
Ravel’s Beat My Score flow connects your Daily result to a challenge link. Share it in the chat or message you already use. There is no live lobby to arrange, and your friend does not have to be online when you finish.
Send your first challenge.
- Play the current Daily in Ravel. Finish your run and get your result.
- Open the Daily score-sharing flow. Use Beat My Score to share the challenge linked to that result.
- Send it while that Daily is current. The invitation carries the Daily date and your target score.
- Invite your friend to share onward. After their run, they can send their own challenge to someone else.
Someone sent you a Ravel challenge. Now what?
Open the original challenge link on your iPhone. If Ravel is installed and the link opens the app, you can take on the current Daily challenge with that score as the target.
If the link takes you to the App Store, install Ravel, then return to the original message and tap that challenge link again. Keep the original invitation so the app can receive the correct challenge.
If the date has passed, Ravel offers today’s Daily. Start a new run and create a fresh invitation instead of comparing an old challenge with a different day’s board.
Keep group competition simple.
A group chat can share Daily results and challenge links without a custom tournament. Pick a current Daily, take separate runs, and compare the scores. Ravel does not create a custom group or school leaderboard for that chat.
If you want a short solo run between Daily challenges, Rush gives you two minutes on a fresh random board. For shared-board invitations, stay with Daily.
Challenge questions
Do we have to play at the same time?
No. You take separate runs on the same Daily. Send and open the challenge while that Daily is current.
Does a challenge open a custom game room?
No. Beat My Score adds a target score to the normal Daily experience. It does not create a live room or a custom leaderboard.
Will installing Ravel automatically remember the challenge?
Keep the original message. After installing, return to that message and tap the original challenge link again to pass the challenge to Ravel.
Can I use a Rush result for a same-board challenge?
Use Daily’s Beat My Score system for a shared-board invitation. Rush uses a fresh random board each run and has its own weekly leaderboard.
